No merece las 4 estrellas

El paisaje alrededor, el edificio son fabulosos. Muy cerca de Santillana (vas andando). Tiene parking propio El personal de día, por el contrario al de recepción a la noche, muy bien: simpático y muy alegre.

Desayuno no había como tal: ofrecían un café y un croissant de bolsa tostado de antemano. Supongo que fuimos fuera de fechas "pico" pero en ese sentido, pobre. La insonorización de las habitaciones, muy deficiente a mi gusto. Y alguna actitud del personal a la llegada, muy displicente y poco colaborativa

No había ningún lugar para dejar maletas. Toallas de mala calidad. Mala ubicación. La ventana abierta por la noche al llegar y hacia frío. En el cuarto de baño poco espacio para los artículos de aseo.LA DUCHA SE REGULABA MUY MAL. INSTALACIONES MUY ANTIGUAS. NO CORRESPONDE A UN 3 *

Hotel con encanto

Es un hotel con encanto, la piscina estaba muy limpia y las instalaciones cuidadas, el personal muy amable, esta en un entorno precioso, rodeado de naturaleza y lleno de flores que lo hacen muy bonito.

Las habitaciones están un poco anticuadas a pesar de la reforma que han hecho, si eres un poco tiquismiquis y de oído fino se escucha todo, tanto a los vecinos de las otras habitaciones como la gente en el pasillo.

La piscina y el aparcamiento incluido en el precio de la reserva.

La recepcionista de la mañana, llegamos sobre la 13:00 y antes de saludar , comentó que el check in era a partir de las 14:00pm, le comenté que lo había leído pero que si había algún sitio para dejar la maleta. Ni si quiera, miro si la reserva estaba bien. No fue mal educada pero tampoco dio la sensación de querer atender. En cambio la recepcionista de la tarde, un encanto.

A lovely place located in a beautiful setting, very convenient to walk to town.

Countryside all around and quirky.

The room was very rustic, quirky and quaint. We had a double aspect room with a Juliet balcony. The views were lovely There are lots of tables and chairs in the garden. We had dinner in the hotel. The fish was very good.

There were at least 4 items on the menu that were not available. As it was a paper menu, they should have rewritten it. On walking around the property, there are areas which have been neglected which is a shame. It is in a lovely spot and with a little work it could be an amazing place.

Basic but good hotel.

Room was clean, and location fairly good being a little bit of a walk outside of Santillana del Mar.

There were sounds in the corridor from a large party who were staying the night.

It was acceptable for a night stay but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The pool was probably the best.

The WiFi wasn’t working as according to the staff: ‘the walls were too thick’. However they were so thin that at night you could hear the neighbours in their bathroom. There was a persistent loud fan extractor fan noise. The room was humid, there was no aircon, the window handles were broken, the bathtub was tiny and the shower was set up to flood the bathroom floor. The duvet was paper thin and plastic. The overall interior was looking rather tired. The staff spoke no English.

Smelly pipes smelly room

The room was clean and had a nice size for a family of four

When we arrived everything seemed ok. After we've returned from dinner in town, we noticed, the bathroom had a pestilent smell from the pipes. After a while the smelll had permeated all the room. Considered sleeping in the car, but hanged on and hoped the night passed fast. In the morning we fleed as fast as we could and went outside to clean the lungs in the beautiful surroundings. Please don't rent room 103 to anyone until is fixed.

Had very nice meal and drinks on evening all staff friendly and well priced.We left behind toilet bag with money inside hotel have kept for us to arrange return too us so very honest .

Unsafe fir disabled people and should be stated beforehand

Beautiful gardens and view

No mention about 12 steps without handrails into hotel grounds plus a long undulating path from bottom of steps to reception. We informed the hotel prior of our mobility problems and no mention of the above were made. 1st dinner was a farse. The waitress gave us a part English menu and when we asked other details she shrugged and went away and we got no answer. The 1st breakfast was almost non existent. Very little food to offer and toaster is useless. Whilst the room was good the beds were very small and no more than 30 inches from the floor. Having mobility problems this caused major disruption for night visits to the bathroom. If you are elderly or have problems stay away

the location and views are lovely

Tired decor, uncomfortable bed, the pool was empty/out of use, dreadful food in the restaurant and breakfast was served too late (8:30) to even try as we had to leave for the ferry. All in all, way below the standard expected
